Campfire Co-Op Member Cancellation Policy

At Campfire Co-Op, we are committed to fostering a supportive, positive, and inclusive community where every member feels valued and respected. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all, we maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for behavior that undermines our core values. This includes harassment, bullying, drama, or any actions that detract from the collaborative spirit of our community.

We want to make it clear that our members are expected to:

  • Treat everyone with respect and kindness: We encourage open, honest, and constructive communication, always approaching disagreements with respect and a willingness to understand.

  • Foster positivity: We believe in building each other up. Negative behavior, such as gossip, personal attacks, or inflammatory comments, is not acceptable.

  • Support collaboration and cooperation: Campfire Co-Op thrives on mutual support, shared learning, and growth. We expect all members to contribute to a culture of collaboration and goodwill.

Member Cancellation

If a member is found to be consistently violating the values outlined above—whether through harassment, bullying, drama, or other disruptive behaviors—they may be subject to membership cancellation. This decision will be made after a thorough review of the situation and in consultation with the affected parties.

While we believe in second chances and open communication, if negative behavior continues despite efforts to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to remove a member from our community. This helps ensure that Campfire Co-Op remains a space where everyone can thrive.

Steps for Membership Cancellation:

  1. Warning and Resolution: If a member's behavior violates our policies, they will receive a formal warning outlining the issue. We encourage open dialogue to resolve the concern and provide guidance for improvement.

  2. Review: If behavior does not improve after the warning, we will conduct a thorough review to determine the severity and frequency of the issue. This may involve feedback from other members or the leadership team.

  3. Cancellation: If the behavior persists, or if the issue is deemed serious, membership may be canceled with no refund. The member will be notified via email and informed of the reasons for the decision.

We are committed to maintaining a positive and healthy community where everyone can feel safe and supported. Thank you for helping us create a space where collaboration and respect come first.
